Ferrets are an extremely playful animal and an expert in leaping, twisting and scampering. These activities are not only enjoyed be kids but also by adults. However, ferrets are of higher maintenance than some other pets. People owning ferrets as pet should try to spend lots of time and attention with them.

They in fact require many hours of supervised exercise and must play outside the cage for some time each day. As they are mischievous and distinctive by nature they must be kept away from pet birds, rabbits, cats, mice and rats.

Ferrets are masters in escaping through the smallest spaces. They require placing in a cage and must also have a collar bell. When it comes to diet you can give your ferret food from the pet shop.

They must be given with high quality premium ferret food or even cat food. On the other hand, water and Whiskas cat milk is fine for his/her liquid needs. Veterinary care is most imperative for Ferrets care. Have a regular clean up of eyes, nose and teeth.
