Tame and train wild and vicious horses

Horses are probably the largest pets among all animals. People generally enjoy horse riding and this can be the reason for having a horse as a pet. It is very fascinating that they are able to understand the complicated humans language and can obey our directions.

Horses are recognized as social animals. They interact with related horses and enjoy human contact too. Horses generally do not make noise. But they communicate via eyes, ears, muzzles, tails and body posture.

Horses require ample stable and field room to move, graze and run. Their basic characters itself is to run quickly from any threat and to seek safety. It is important to know that despite their size, they are not a guard animal. You must give proper training to have your horse follow the directions given by you.

Horse teeth develop regularly and sharp points and edges can cause pain when chewing so they must be checked on a periodic basis. Horse hooves should be trimmed in every six to eight weeks to avoid unpleasant situations. This can be done by a trained horse vet.

The diet offered to horses must be uniform, frequent changes in food is not generally acceptable by them. The amount of food actually depends upon horse’s size, breed, age, and activity performed.

Clean water should be always accessible to your horse. The healthiest food for horses is grass; however you must avoid feeding too much grains. A regular health check up is necessary for horses and any unpleasant symptoms or accidents must be reported immediately.
